of the art equipment that allows us to locate, clean out your sewer lines as well
as pull sewage from your tanks. Our trained technicians are approved by the
National Association of Wastewater Technicians NAWT so you can rest assure
the job is done accurately and to industry standards.
How do you know it’s time to service your septic system? Here are 5 common
signs that a septic system needs servicing.
    1.        Bad Odor around your property
    2.        Pooling of water in a particular area over a lengthy period
    3.        An overly healthy lawn
    4.        Slow draining sinks
    5.        Sewer backing up in toilets

Do you ask yourself, what is involved with a proper septic system service?
Here is what you can expect from Express Disposals.
The first step in pumping and cleaning is locating and exposing your tanks
access lids. Of course you can dig them up yourself, or if you would rather,
we would be more than happy to locate and uncover the lids for you for an
    additional fee.
With the access lids uncovered and open, but before we begin pumping, we
will note the liquid level of the tank in relation to the tank’s outlet pipe. A
liquid level below the outlet pipe usually indicates a tank leak.  A liquid level
above the outlet pipe can indicate a problem with the pipe to the drainfield
    or the drainfield itself.
Lowering a “vacuum” hose into the tanks manholes the pumping process
begins.  The hose is attached to a strong pump on our truck which sucks out
all of the solids and liquids from your septic tank and into our service truck.
At this point we can offer cleaning out your drainage line from your building
commonly known as “jetting”. This process breaks away any build up that
may be allowing any restriction in the drain lines to your septic tank.
Our trained technician will watch for backflow from the tank outlet pipe.
Significant backflow indicates a drainfield system backup. A small amount
of backflow can indicate a sag in the pipe to the drainfield.
Your tank will be cleaned out thoroughly.  We use a tool called a septage
spoon and a process known as backflushing to loosen all the sludge in the
corners of the tank allowing it to be removed.  The walls of the tank are
sprayed with clean water ensuring a clean tank.
After pumping our trained technician will check inside the empty tank and
note any signs of structural damage such as an open weep hole, leaking
midseam, damaged baffles, or cracks.  If anything out of the ordinary is
found or any sign of current or impending problems, we will notify you and
offer advice on how to remedy the situation.
How much can you expect to pay to have a proper job done? Depending on
septic tank size and the location of your property you can expect to pay
between $300 - $500 if we don’t locate the lid or provide jetting.
